Gathering up the Fallout 76 Nuke codes and firing off a nuke is one of the more engaging activities in the wasteland. It opens the door to new possibilities and here are this week’s codes.

Current Fallout 76 Nuke Codes for April 22-29

Weekly Nuke Codes in Fallout 76 can be used to authorize the launch of a nuke at specific sites. Nuclear blasts wipe out most objects and beings in a massive area and spawn higher-level mutants, giving you a shot at better loot. The blast zone will be marked on the map to show players where the nuclear missiles hit. Those who enter the aftermath area will need to wear a radiation suit or power armor to survive. These codes will only last until April 29, 2024, after which it will be reset.

How to launch a nuke in Fallout 76

Here’s a step-by-step guide that covers how to launch a nuke in Fallout 76:

  1. Finish the Main Quest and become a member of the Enclave Faction.
  2. Finish the quest I am Become Death.
  3. Grab a Nuclear Keycard.
  4. Get the launch codes for one of the silos.
  5. Fight your way to the nuclear terminal.
  6. Launch the nuke at a selected target.

Getting the Nuclear Keycard and Nuke Code

Here’s how you can get the Nuclear Keycard and Nuke Code:

  • Nuclear Keycards can be acquired via the Atomic Shop or through the ‘Hide and Seek and Destroy’ repeatable quest which tasks you with hunting down a Cargobot for the Enclave. This bot drops one Nuclear Keycard.
  • You will get the number combinations from items dropped by Scorched and Feral Ghoul Officers (look for their radio packs).
  • Use the Surveillance System Terminal and accept the mission 8 times to get all Nuke code fragments. This process can be frustrating and player SaukPuhpet’s decrypting process can come in handy if you don’t want to use the codes from above.
  • As for joining The Enclave, you can do so at a bunker in The Mire within the Abandoned Waste Dump, guarded by two Deathclaws. You’ll need to climb up the ranks to a General to access silos Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie.

Reaching the Control Room

As you fight your way through the silo to the terminal, you will have timed objectives to complete to reach the end. Pack plenty of weapons and chems for the job. Here’s what you’ll need to do to reach the Control Room:

  • First, you’ll need to cross the laser grid with forged Biometric ID cards.
  • Then, you’ll need to cross the irradiated reactor room, which will need repairs and a reboot.
  • After that, you’ll need to rip out mainframe cores while defeating bots before opening a security door with these cores.
  • One boss fight later, you can find the right terminal to trigger another quest.
  • Here, you’ll need to defend the control chiefs and start missile reconstruction.
  • You can now start the final authorization by entering your Nuclear Kecard and the nuclear code. The resulting explosion is spectacular to behold.
